Trilby — Exceptional 3-Year-Old American Paint Gelding Trilby is a striking 3-year-old American Paint, bred by Jemma Jones, with his stud by Pepsi Poco. Standing at nearly 16hh, he is an exceptional height for an American Paint and has plenty of presence. Trilby has been professionally started by Tom Mitchell using natural horsemanship techniques and has taken everything in his stride. He is currently ridden English and is proving to be an incredibly sensible and willing young horse. For his age, Trilby has already gained a fantastic amount of experience. He will happily hack alone or in company and lead a hack, works nicely in the school, loads, clips and stands well for the farrier. He is good to handle in all ways and has a wonderfully level-headed attitude, rarely batting an eyelid at anything asked of him. He has been given a thoughtful, professional start without being rushed and is now ready for someone to continue his education. With his breeding, size, temperament and foundation, I believe he would make a particularly exciting prospect for someone looking to take him into a Western career, although he is a lovely versatile young horse with plenty of potential.
