He would make an excellent horse for a husband who wants to dabble in different activities with a jaw-dropping partner. This horse will turn heads wherever you take him. He is great in a stall or out in the pasture and is happy in either environment. If you are looking for a flashy trail mount, play-day horse, or an overall willing partner, Jimmy is your guy. Rascal just turned 2 years old on the 4th of July. He is a APHA solid paint colt. He is a sooty buckskin color very sweet and gentle. Color tested and 6 panel N/N . Rascal is a paint horse his father is a very flashy overo and his dam a palomino mare. He has some very nice quarter horse big names back in his lineage , Names like Smart Chic Olena, Smart Little Lena , Sailing Smart, Peppy San Badger, Doc Olena & Doc Bar. Rascal was on a pasture for the first 2 years of his life and poorly taken care of Imo which is probably why he did not grow as much as he should have the first 2 years of his life. He has a really sweet disposition he currently stands 50 inches tall, I have only had him a short time, and he has already grown 2 inches, he is now stall kept eating well and packing on the weight. He stands tied, leads, lunges, picks up all 4 feet , loads and hauls quietly. He just had his feet done and is UTD on shots and was just wormed on his bday. He has a nice wide frame and I would expect him to reach at least 13.3 to maybe 14h. He has been saddled and has lead a child around on his back. He is not spooky or wild. Not a bad bone in his body. He is a stud but does not act like it at all. Both his testicles have dropped so he can be gelded at anytime. He will make a perfect companion for someone looking for a forever horse that they can start and finish themselves, or even for a aspiring kid that wants to be a trainer someday. I will be working with him more and more and possibly gelding him in the future. Asking price is $1700 as is , the more I work w him and spend on him his price will reflect that. Handled daily by his owner, my 15 year old daughter. He stands for ferrier, loads, hauls, baths and clips. He has been to several horse show already and shown at halter. 5-year-old solid Registered APHA mare. 15.1H, about 1150 lbs. 30 days of professional training. Pros: extremely smart, not spooky, ties, clips, stands for farrier, three gaits, smooth mover, neck reins/moves off pressure, more whoa than go (not going to be a speed event horse), started on side pass, started on simple lead changes, has had the rope thrown off her, has drug logs, good in stall or pasture, clean in stall, no weaving, no chewing, no cribbing, not buddy sour, meets you at the gate, trailers well. Cons: marish, bottom of the pecking order, can be mouthy at times, and has kicked. Needs more saddle time/full-time program, very nice confirmation, and could make a good broodmare.
